Check Out Digplanet

It is amazing what you can find on the web using DuckDuckGo in terms of other search tools.  Case in point: Digplanet.

Digplanet is a search tool that permits individuals to dig for information from the following sources:

  • Wikipedia
  • YoutTube
  • Google News
  • Google Books
  • Twitter

Users may select to browse the directory (as seen in Figure 1) or conduct a keyword search.

To completely benefit from Digplanet, users should take advantage of the search function.   For those competitive intelligence researchers who are called upon to profile individuals of an executive team, try entering their name in the search box.  Figure 2 illustrates the results from Wikipedia for the query, “Thorsten Heins”,  President and Chief Executive Officer at Research In Motion.
